TOPIC: Blog comments

Jay, I like the blogs you got going there. I just left you and Bert some comments on your blogs.

I saw that.  I erased my comment and did it again.  And it still shows up before yours.  Is there any way to correct that Dom?

On my blog the same thing is happening.  It must be set to have the newest message at the top.  If there is a way to change that I would prefer to have the oldest at the top.  That way replies follow the replied-to message. 

Guess what Jay; we have been doing it wrong.  When I replied to a comment on my blog I did it by submitting a comment myself.  Instead I should have clicked on "reply." 
When done that way the reply comes right after the replied-to comment and it is set back a bit so it shows clearly that the reply and comment belong together.

Bert - I have always clicked on reply.  I even did it again this morning hoping that it would forget that I made a comment before.  I deleted my previous comment and redid it.  The computer remembered the order and put me ahead of yours.  I don't know what to do.  But how many people are reading these things anyway?  The comments only mean things to Google, and the bots, and it helps the SEO thing.  Or so I am told!

If you hit reply it should come right after as Bert mentioned. Are you hitting reply right next to Bert's comment, or to the last comment?

I was hitting reply to the comment.  I just found out that if I delete the out-of-order comment and reissue it as a new comment it comes up after, which is desired.  Are they all right now Bert?
