egads, I did something right!
Works fine- Thanks, Dominic! Next, I'd like to have an Authorization Form where they fill in the blanks of my personal contract, and the WHOLE thing comes to me in an email . . .not just the filled fields. Possible? |

That would be a lot more involved. Once I get everything else working smoothly I'll look into that.
Some of the guys have already created Surveys using the WebForms too, you can just email your client a link after the inspections and you get a copy via email and it's in the database. |

I just changed my book and inspection page to Contact Us. Works fine, except it also is not redirecting to the thank you page.
By the way, I love the idea of an "Authorization" page. Especially with EIFS inspections, many time I find myself inspecting a hobe without the client/homeowner/mortgage broker present. I always have them email or fax an authorization. This would make it easier. |

Right, Steven-
I envision it as much like an on-line checkout page, where certain blocks have to be filled in, and others are yes / no radio dials. Then click "Authorize" which would submit it, intact, as an email, or even a PDF attachment. That way, there's no question of WHAT they agreed to, as it's all there in one place. Another version could have it tied to an on-line payment, where it's all a prerequisite to fill in all blanks. Just my picture of an "ideal" world. |

Hi Russell,
I have two visions for the authorization page. First off, I do a number of inspections that are ordered by mortgage brokers. In many cases, they are paying for the inspection. For the purpose of avoiding the problem of collecting my fees, I now have them email or fax me a request to perform an inspection. I tell them it is so I don't have a problem when I go to do the inspection, but really it is to help me if I have a problem collecting. Of course, the best help collecting is not releasing the report... which I NEVER do, until I am paid. My second idea is using it as an on line contract. |

Steven, we're on the same page here.
Bottom line, it IS a contract. We may call it an "Authorization", but it's the contract. If we can get one that's online & binding, I'll be thrilled. I just don't want the "Book an inspection" look, where the verbiage is not included. I want it all right there, delivered to me. |
