Thanks.
1. With the flash slide show, am I able to put an alternate text for the images?  I don't want to loose all the text content by using flash.  If I can't enter an alternate text on flash then I am okay with shortening my description on the slide show the way I have it now.  Mind you, I haven't been able to figure out how to add an alternate text on my slide show images now either.
2. If I decide to shorten the descriptions, can I do that on the website or do I have to do that on my own computer file and re-upload them?
3. If I stay with the slide show the way I have it now, how do I add it in the middle of the page somewhere?  I think I understood from earlier posts that I should be able to copy and past text in one of the panels but I haven't been able to figure out how.

Thank you.

How about my other questions?  (The second last post.)

The text comes from the filenames and I don't think you can rename a file with spaces on the server but you can try.

The slideshow is Javascript. Search engines can't see Javascript or Flash (or see very little of it at least for now) so I wouldn't worry about alt text.

You'll need to reupload the images. Check under My Account->Files as there are some options there to resize and on the newer server we added renaming.

Check out the Panels tutorial.

Thanks Dominic.  I got it done.  (At the end of my last post I had the following comment:How about my other questions?  (The second last post.)  I had my questions listed so this comment should have been edited out.  Now it sounded like: Hey! What about my other questions! Not meant that way.

I am lost on how to put the slides how form slide.com onto theme 10. Not my site. I wanted it on the home page. here is the code, if it is the right code. www.slide.com/r/UH3e6OFU0j-jaFk0cGpUHgXu...ed_url&view=original

I figured it out. Is it possible to get rid of the adopt a pet button?

Yes it is possible.  In Source, you can delete that part.  I couldn't find it stated anywhere that it had to stay there in order for me to use it so I deleted it on mine.  I can't quite recall exactly what had to be deleted in addition to the text but I'm sure if I figured it out, you most certainly will be able to figure it out.
