TOPIC: Best Report Template that is current

I'm new to HIP coming from a different system that was all online rather than stand alone.  My agents haven't been happy with the layout I've done lately and I was curious if anybody had a suggestion on a good clean report?  I would need a section for WDI and Radon as well.

Best is definitely open to one's opinion. We have dozens of templates that have been shared and I'm sure that each inspector feels theirs is the best! Check out the thread in this section on shared templates, look at the sample reports made with them and decide which you feel is the best.

It just seems so many are over four years old and I don't want to have to download every single pdf to view each person's example.  I thought I'd see if anybody had a "go to" template that had additions for radon and WDI.  The standard ones I've seen don't have that.

Age doesn't matter at all. Nether does location. You might find you love the format from a guy in a totally different state, or even country. It just depends on your personal taste. Radon is a separate template that you can import. HIP doesn't do the NMPA-33 form which is what most states require for WDI.

Dev you are best off just to take the time to make your own rather than copy anyone else.
It should go with your particular style and walk path on a property.

Canned comments should be in your speech pattern and thought process pattern plus you may have certain components others do not on your inspection list.
Just use listed templates as a guide ...a rough guide.
