TOPIC: What is the best to incorporate all of the WI SOP into my default template?

Re: What is the best to incorporate all of the WI SOP into my default template? 12 years 9 months ago #46581

Here is a report with the stuff the state requires reported.

You must answer all the tabs up to the "Comment" tab in each section to comply with the State SOP reporting.

David,
Not sure I understand.  All of the "shall inspects" listed at the top of the page are also listed at the very top (tab section) so you can answer each one individually in that order?
Thank you for sharing this.  I was not able to open the first link you sent but this one worked.  What email address did you send it to?
Thanks again for your help!

David,
How do you HI deal with all of those poisonous critters in TN (crawl space inspections)?

So you don't use disclaimers and don't give a copy of the SOP to your clients.  At some point in time, one or both of those facts will come back to haunt you.  Some people disclaim everything just as some people recommend further evaluation on every defect.  Disclaimers are a necessary evil to protect you and your business.

Steve,

Not sure if you were asking me or not. I do have disclaimers in the contract and peppered throughout the report in my selection and damage panel comments. I want to write up a "Limitations" tab as the last item in each section which will combine all diclaimers into one location for each system. The SOP is broken into parts and placed in documents at the beginning of each system, just lilke David's template (belated thanks for the idea BTW David).

David, could you please post these in the template section too as a new post? It would be a great example for others.

This is the basic draft of my working template. You can add (and I have) many more tabs after these. I set it up this way so I know to answer all the tabs and all the sub-tabs out to the "comments" tab. I have other tabs that go right from there for stuff not listed as a requirement by the State.

This is a template to meet the minimum requirement of my State.

Dominic, Yes I will. Later this weekend.
