TOPIC: Issues with cut/paste function

Sounds like ClipMate is interjecting itself even when using the copy/paste buttons within the program. It should recognize that it's not normal text and just ignore it, but guess not. You might want to send a message to their programmer to see if there's a way to prevent it from interacting with a particular program or at least non text & images. Glad you got it figured out though!

There is actually an "Application Profile" within ClipMate that allows me to turn it off for HIP.

That's perfect then!

One other thing that is bugging me; Dragon Naturally Speaking does not work for editing the comments.  I have to type everything and I'm lazy! :

Dana, I've been using a word processor program to keep a master list of all my comments.  It is another step in the process, but then I can use Dragon to make the comments in bulk and the cutting and pasting goes pretty quick. Plus I have a backup separate from HIP. (I'm a bit of a nervous Nellie when it comes to backing up files.)

It sure would be nice to use Dragon in HIP, and a "Export Comments" to csv or tsv would be pretty slick too.  Then we could sell all our custom comments and retire early on the copyright profits!  ;D

Dragon has a feature where a box pops up and you can narrate into it then paste directly into HIP. I've seen other guys do it at conference but don't have a copy of Dragon myself to test it with.
