I understand the CA thing. I operated there for 10 years during the late 70's/80's. Even so, CA is not all that some claim it to be. CA likes to protect it's consumers. So do I (my clients). CA is also smart enough to know it NEEDS it's small businesses to survive (who ya think is gonna pay all their taxes anyway). The key is to be fair in all of your business dealings with the general public. As far as copyright protection is concerned, CA must be one of the strictest states for compliance considering all the "artists" that call it home.

But... those are just my thoughts... that the OP did ask for.
