TOPIC: Blackberry

As Jay has, I also got the Sprint Evo 4G phone and preferred a physical keyboard from the previous smartphones I've owned. But over the month and a half I've had it, my accuracy has gotten a lot better with the virtual keyboard. Also it learns over time the mistakes you make, so it guesses amazingly well. I love being able to send and receive e-mails from the phone,  I could go without a computer to do e-mail for days easily.

I use a blackberry curve, with enhanced gmail that auto syncs both ways.. If your mail is Yahoo or gmail, you will get your new mail near instant
Problem with blackberry is the apps. Maybe that is not a problem considering the android security. It comes with a decent calendar that syncs up fine with google and a simple task list, that is all I need.

I have it set up on my phone also, but I carry my laptop and an internet connection. I check my email a couple times a day. Verizon has a contraption, not sure of the name, but basically any where I have a phone signal I have an internet connection. It keeps kids busy on long trips. I just shake my head looking in the back seat with everyone on laptops, on the internet and your in the middle of know where. How spoiled we (they)are
