Yeah, not sure, I am sure this Triplrek brand tablet is oddball, not popular and while I'm no app developer I know apps can act different on different hardware. Whatever piece of software HIP uses to interact with the built in physical camera probably had to be tweaked in some cases.
On this tablet, regardless of lighting, scene etc the camera will not autofocus regardless of how long I wait.
One quick touch anywhere on the screen anywhere on the picture and it autofocus's immediately and picture is great.
Not a deal breaker just a extra click.
Haven't put it on my phone to see how it acts on it, it's a Samsung so I'd bet the bus have been ironed out on it, due to popularity of the device.
