Has anyone else had problems in HIP Mobile selecting sections? Ex. going from the Exterior section to the Roof section. When I press on the Roof Section from the main page, I get nothing. I can go back to the Exterior section just fine. It's very random. Sometimes its the Structure section I can't select or the Plumbing section. Sometimes they all work fine. I thought this was perhaps a phone issue but I have recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S8 and it still happens. This is very frustrating as I cannot record my findings for that section until later when it finally allows me to open that section. I am using HIP mobile version 5.4.33 and HIP version 5.2.5
Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks! |

I have experienced the same issue. My work around has been to select the field above or below it, back out of it and then the app will allow me to select the original one. No clue why, but doing it like this hasn't added a lot of extra time. It happens 3 or 4 times at the most during an inspection.

Yes, we've finally replicate it (hard as it was so random). It's an OS bug that we were waiting on the platforms to fix but gave up waiting. We've been rewriting a big part of HIP mobile right now to work around the issue and will have an update shortly. As Matt mentioned you can go back to the main section and then option it or if it's an item issue go to the prev or next item and use the arrows to move to it.

Hi, just checking if there an actual fix to this issue yet. I am still experiencing this problem and when I called in, no fix was indicated except to delete then reinstall the app. I did that but it did not help. I have to exit all the way out sometimes to get sections to work. Sometimes I have to take photos from the main screen and label later on my computer which takes more time and effort. Please advise. Thanks!

I was wondering the same today. I typically experience this a few times during an inspection. Today the frequency was higher than normal. I back out to home screen and re-enter sections. No fun.
I also experience a condition where screen gets stuck on " saving 100%" . Nothing I can do to resolve other than restart the phone. Very time consuming and difficult to deal with with clients, agents, and father-in-laws in tow. Any suggestions?? |

Yes, I get stuck in saving 100% mode too. Have to close out the window completely and open new. It happen when clients are tagging along. and I just have to take a photo and add it later. The other glitch I have is in the kitchen section. When I choose type of range, the choice doesn't stay highlighted when I upload to cloud and down to computer.
