I use the default keyboard that came with the phone, not too sure what it is?

Microphone is on the bottom left.

Great discussion by the way. As others have mentioned, there is a balance to be found. Tons of lists does create more time as there's more clicks, but some may feel more comfortable with that method.

The Samsung keyboard and the SwiftKey keyboard are very similar.  Just to the left of the space bar is the microphone symbol.  Hold it down until the window opens.  a second or two, and the voice recorder turns on.

Wow, using the microphone is a great feature that I was not using,,,,,,, until now!

The microphone feature is great for that custom narrative that isn't in your library.
I use it on every inspection.  Have fun.

REMEMBER to ALWAYS check those spoken narratives.  Until it gets used to your dialect and the way you pronounce certain words, you may be surprised at what words will show up.  I checked one when I got back home to load some special diagrams / photos and when I checked one of my narratives, it was the most obscene run-on sentence I have ever seen.  I don't even remember what I was trying to say it was so far off.  :-X

Is it possible to use the microphone feature if there is no data /wifi connection?
