TOPIC: New Green Checkmark on heading drop down lists

Hi Dominic or others,

I've downloaded the newest version of HIP 4.5.3. I've noticed a green checkmark on some of the heading drop down lists. What does this mean? Also, is there a new way to actually mark a section done, i.e. an icon, grey out, something on mobile and desktop?

Hi Greg,

The new green check mark allows you to signal that items are complete in your report.

I had wondered what the green check was....it's always checked on only ONE section when I start a new inspection. never shows up elsewhere even when I'm complete.

Always thought a good idea was to check mark a section complete and then have the program popup a list all "incomplete" sections when clicking the "generate report" button.
I'm not a programmer. Not sure if it's possible.

I agree with the later comment. A popup window prior to printing stating sections not completed yet would be great. Other software provide that feature. Or, a simple check box the user could add for each section in the forms that would not print. Ive not found a way to create that yet.

I have noticed some sections in HIP mobile grey out when you complete them but not all sections do even if you have been through them. It doesnt carry over to the desktop version however. Inconsistent.

Hi Greg,

If you complete an item in mobile it'll definitely gray out. If you have ratings enabled then you'll need to click a rating. If not, you just need o visit the comment. Ratings do carry over in the latest version of HIP Mobile and HIP.

I just downloaded v4.5.4 for Mac and I noticed the green checkmarks and figured they were related to the green writing in the tabs, which is fine. The problem is that after I finished my first report in v4.5.4, the check marks and 'green' tabs are now stuck in the status they were for that report. They do not clear for a new report.
