A couple of weeks ago, I deleted all of the reports that were stored on my ipad in order to have more space. But afterwards, my software on my ipad 2 is not working. I can't start a report and the software keeps saying that I have no report to open. I was going to restore my ipad 2 but, I have not done that before and wonder what will be deleted if I do so, what will I lose if I restore to factory setting and restore a backup. I have a backup stored on my computer and on icloud. I have inspections coming up. Help!

Hi Leon,
It sounds like you deleted your template. Download your template and try starting a new inspection. All your templates should be on your desktop so formatting your iPad won't cause you to lose anything except your mobile settings. |

I already tried downloading templates. Its that the "create" link does nothing.
It appears to happen after I attempted deleting all of the reports that were stored in it. The program appears to have crashed cause the create link stopped working. I deleted and reinstalled the app, logged in, downloaded templates, selected one, but the "create" link still does nothing. It appears that something happened within my ipad software. I might have to refresh it to factory default. If I do that, then restore a backup, will my ipad still have everything else, (besides the hip app). I never did it before |

What to do next??
I restored my ipad to factory default, then restored a backup. Then I reinstalled the hip software, logged in, downloaded a few templates, went to "manage" link, typed a new report name, tried to click the create link, then nothing happens. What is wrong??? Can someone help me with this?? |

When I touch the "create" link with nothing in the Name box, an alert box comes up saying I can't use name with special charactors. It appears to recognize that I touched the link, but does nothing else. Can someone in support call me and help me thru this? Thanks.

I finally narrowed down the problem. This is what I did:
1) I restored the ipad to default, then restored a backup. logged onto my account, downloaded templatecreate did not work on this ipad 2) I restored the ipad to default, set up as new, then installed the hip app, logged into my account, downloaded template, tried to open an inspection, create did not work 3) I deleted the hip app, reinstalled it, and did NOT log in, but used the apptrial. create WORKS!!! It appears that my account got messed up like it did before. Before, someone called me and gave me another account and that problem was fixed. Can someone fix my account again, or give me another account ASAP? I use this ipad all of the time for inspections. |
