TOPIC: Hip.log.lck

What is the hip.log.lck & Hip.log.xx.lck, and Hip.log.xx in my data file on the desktop MAC version of HIP? I don't recall seeing them before and the list appears to be getting longer.

I figured it out, it is an error log according to another post I read. Which brings up the issue I have been having, When I use the red X to log out, the program becomes unresponsive about 80% of the time and I have to force quit. I assume that is generating the log. Is there a fix for the unresponsive program?

What about if you use File->Exit?

It happens with all ways of exiting, now more than ever. I am on a MAC with Yosemite, but it was happening with Mavericks before I upgraded. If I open the program then close, I have no problem. But when I do a report then exit, it doesn't close and I get the spinning beach ball. I had the spinning beach ball yesterday and let it go to see how long it would take; I gave up at the 4 hour mark. Can this be fixed??? it is just annoying.

On a lighter note; had 3 clients this past week tell me how nice and professional the report looked. Two had previous inspections by another inspector; they said those reports were well below the standard of this report.

Try using the File->Exit Option.
