TOPIC: Save Report

Is it possible to add a feature to make you save your report prior to uploading it to client?  I just lost an entire inspection this way...grrr.  It is a PDF, but that does me no good. 

Had it a long time ago and everyone complained about the extra prompt. HIP prompts you every time you leave the software though. Did you miss that prompt?

Im not sure what happened?? Oh well.....

ISN questions- 1. When I transfer over client info, Sq Ft is not listed behind house size (ex. 1542 vs 1542 sq ft) What would be the best repair for this...On HIP or ISN?
              2. When i transfer over client info, the realtor info is usually not listed properly, so I have to scroll through and find it.  Since I don't put their name on the report is this some thing I should worry about?

1. You'd need to add that on the ISN side. HIP just grabs the exact data on ISN

2. The first time you use the agent it'll add them to the address book and you'll need to select them from the drop down. From then on it'll automatically do it. If you don't put them on the report and you have the records in ISN though it probably doesn't matter.

It's called auto save and this software has none....
How about being near complete on a report and the power

That's what you want to save every so often by clicking on Save. HIP Mobile has autosave as it's able to complete it very quickly. HIP 1.0 had an autosave feature but saving took around 30 seconds back then and aggravated inspectors when doing onsite inspections as they couldn't do anything during that time. Now that computers are much faster we're rewriting this and adding it back into HIP as an optional feature.
