TOPIC: My heart is broken...

I just got the new HIP mobile version loaded, love it...  Lots of goodies on this one.

My only beef is that when I type in my inspection file name using the system I have had for three or four years: date, last name, address:

6-12-14 Smith 123 Anystreet Peoria

An angry message pops up which says, "Too Big Inspection Name! Inspection name should not be more than 25 characters."

Who is this unknown foreigner with broken English taking away the best method of naming my inspections I have ever come up with? I can search by date, name or address when I need to find the inspections in the future. It's beautiful, it's perfect.

My heart is broken, I want my large inspection names back.

You're criticizing a pop-up message when you should be proof reading your own posts?? What foreign country are you from? 

At least I can blame Apple's voice recognition. The broken English ain't the point, it's my beautiful inspection names which are forced to be truncated, cut off, circumcised. It's like an artist being censored.

Yeah, I got it. Even so... Waa-waa!! LOL

This is my format, and I can locate a file in about 3.5 seconds with Last name and year of inspection...

Anderson201406121R = (18 Characters)

Client name= Anderson
Date= 20140612
Inspection of day= 1
Ancillary services added= R= Radon, M= Mold, A= Asbestos, etc.

I want the address searchable too. Especially when I have been there before.

Just curious... WHY? If pulling files for a client, you have their name and year of inspection. Any other use is, well, useless, as it is OLD information, and is no longer relevant to the current inspection.
