TOPIC: Date changing when loading HIP mobile to desktop and name file limited to 25

I know a similar question has come up before, but I can't find the answer.

When I upload my HIP mobile report and open it on the desktop the date defaults to the previous month.

Is there a solution to this issue.

Also, when creating a new HIP mobile report, the file name is limited to 25 characters. Can this limit be increased.

Hi Peter,

No, the file name limit was set because mobile devices have a file name size limit and any longer was preventing files from saving. Remember we also add the date to the end of the file automatically.

Yup, that's a bug with the date module that will be fixed with HIP 4. There's a long story about it I've posted elsewhere here on the forum but basically for now just manually change it.
