TOPIC: Showing step by step guide on transferring HIP folder from PC to PC via dropbox

Is there any chance that HIP can upload a new comprehensive "Step by Step Tutorial" for Dummies (in the Tutorial Section) showing how to transfer all files from one pc to another.

(I use drop box when transferring the folder between PC's. Depending on the speed of my internet connect it can take all night when the entire folder including past reports and PDF's are included. If I exclude past reports and include template files only I seem to end up loosing my Stationary settings / uploads.

Every 3-6 months I seem to end up with some sort of problem when transferring files / templates between PC's and it is a question that seems to get asked every couple of months on the forums. I know from experience that this information is contained somewhere within the forums and through your excellent Live Help feature, but this information should be available in Tutorial Section for ease of reference.

Best thing to remember is to go to your x86 HIP files and simply copy-paste the files there in appropriate folders.
Not much different from pasting photos into a picture folder.

Click on the HIP folder and the only 3 folders for user to play with are really Client data ,Data ,and Client reports.
Go ahead open the 3 up and you see what type files each holds.
Once you for instance transfer a template file to Data folder it will appear in the report software list once you open up to do a report. .

My long awaited Dell 8 inch windows tablet arrived today.

Will set up templates on the new PC tablet over the weekend and see how HIP desktop works on an 8 inch screen.
