TOPIC: Bad picture quality and trouble saving photos.

Bad picture quality and trouble saving photos. 11 years 2 months ago #54639

Hey Dom,

I have the Galaxy note 2 and since the upgrade of mobile hip i am getting terrible picture quality to where when printed i can not see or read any issues in the picture. Also when i accidently close out of the program or a call comes in while in the middle of an inspection, i am unable to save pictures, the program freezes up. Is there a fix or upgrade out there or any one else having the same problems?

Set your camera to save to the memory card instead of internal memory and that will fix the saving issue. It's a bug with samsung. I'll send you the beta which corrects the quality issue. I plan on making it public shortly.

Mine is freezing up as well after being assured that it is storing to my 32 gig sd card which is new and nothing on it .
says saving picture with lil progress circle spinning ....

is locked up and in the same position after exiting the software and restarting it ...
I'm in distress over here ....

Kevin, I'm guessing that your device has auto rolled back to the public version (common problem we're having with beta testers). We've had excellent responses from the latest beta so I'm making it beta right now.

Also, make sure you have your camera set to a max of 3 megapixels if you're having issues with photos. That's more that you'll need. Any higher will not improve quality.

How can it roll back to the public version if it's installed on my camera and the public version is inaccessible to it ?
I only have the beta version installed . Are you saying the software has auto updating ability ?
I have designated the storage to the sd card ,,it's a Sandisk 32 Gig class 10 .
Running the latest Beat you sent .
Sometimes it just skips saving a pic after taking one ,then on the next category I take a pic it saves it randomly
I give it plenty of time in between to run through it's necessary motions so as to not disrupt the save function.
Other times it just freezes up during a save ,thus the saving pic status window
I want this to work soo badly ...
I have an inspection in 3 hrs ,MES ,WDO,WWS .....fingers are crossed
I just went through and reinstalled it (Beta) again after manually deleting every file off my camera at the root level
through my office pc and the android tethered with the usb cable..

fingers are crossed..
