TOPIC: Samsung Galaxy EK GC -100 Android Camera and HIP Mobile Field tests

I just squeezed the trigger on this lil camera after tossing my Pentax K7 and some macro lenses up on Craigslist and
sending the dinosaur down the road.

I'd like to keep my Note 2 loaded with HIP mobile and use it only as a back up Tool for reports,other than that it's
going to be used as a phone .

Amazon has them in black with 8 G memory on board for 340.00 so I ordered 2 extra batteries and a charger for
20 bucks and a Gear keeper retractable lanyard which I'll manage to attach to this sleek chasis somehow most
likely the tripod socket ...

After reading a bit and watching Bob I decided to skip a  windows based tablet and jump all over this ...

I'm hoping Dom's newest version of Mobile runs flawlessly on this lil puppy .
The ability to talk text into my captions during the inspection should keep things fast !

On the road however I am having issues with Hip mobile picture quality.
Take shots of anything with stripes and they look bent plus the labels or print on anything can not be read.
My only solution is to take a regular shot into gallery and then import into Hip which corrects the issue.
I recommend not buying the camera till this is fixed.
I had to use the Android to day and it caused me  big headaches.
On the road returning right now and not happy.
Told Dom about the issue just a few days ago so it may take a while to correct

Shit ! well Thank You Bob your youtube video really was all it took to convince me to grab this .
Did this happen after the latest upgraded version was installed ?
I ask of course because I had issues on my same android platform with my galaxy note2
after the upgrade .
I have full faith in Dom getting this resolved and amazon shipped that lil puppy 15 minutes after
my purchase,,gotta love the speed of amazon prime !

Darn ,Best Buy gives you 2 weeks to return.
Got a hold of Dom and he says his camera is fine so who knows it might be some sort of conflict thing.

The Camera and HIP are great together and to be honest think taking pictures with a tablet and no zoom for flash sucks so
install and test right away.
Dom will figure it out.

He just sent me another Beta to try so he is on it.

Bob helped me track it down. It'll be fixed here in the next few days. Quality isn't what I want it to be when there's lines involved like roof/siding.

Meanwhile I can still use an older version to keep quality where I want it.
Nobody else is complaining so it must be a "me " thing.
