TOPIC: Samsung Galaxy Note II Freezes

IP Mobile worked great with my Galaxy II phone tablet once on my Galaxy II I learned to back out of application and restart app after completing each section and rebooting  phone when app started to slow down.  I have a Galaxy 8.0 Tablet I’m going to try too. 

Before following your suggestion phone app froze and rebooting did not help, I lost my data / photos. Not sure of the sequence of events that lead to the freeze. I was able to duplicate but still not able to identified sequence of events, seem to be different each time. One thing that was constant is extended time of use and app slowing down. So now I back out of application after completing every section and rebooting phone as mentioned. 

I do hope you can find a way to resolve the app from freezing up because once it freezes I loose the data and have to start over.

Here is a couple of suggestions to enhance the app.

1. Photo descriptions. For each description I included NOTES. After report download from cloud the NOTE are part of the photo description. This is only with Photo descriptions.

2. I use Ratings.  Move Ratings to the top, scolling down is a pain and does not feel natural when selecting items. Better yet can you create a Check Boxes horizontally aligned at the top like the ICONs (Sync, Manage, etc).

3. Settings (line values), when there is only one line description (e.g. single word to describe location) can you eliminate blank lines above and below a single line description? The Setting line valve applies to single line comments and adds blank lines (white space) that are not necessary and adds to additional scrolling .

4. Unrelated Related to the IP Mobile, When I upload report to IP Website, the PDF conversion change my photos. The photos are hard to read.

5. After completing the description section I have to use my back button. I would like to have a save button. So I know I’m saving my changes. I like the auto save but would like to have a save button too.
Overall, the greatest advantage is the slotting of the photos and with the Galaxy hand writing recognition and ability to mark up the photos I have cut reporting time down significantly. I’m looking forward to getting the next release version with these improvements.

John, are you using the beta of HIP Mobile I sent you? You shouldn't need to reboot at all.

1. Makes sense, I'll check it out.

2. The problem is that this is purposely like HIP. The ratings are attached to the damage panel (observations). So the materials are showing first, then the ratings/observations.

3. We had to force the same row height on ever cell for Android. Android has a really hard time with multiple width rows and slows down. I recommend a row height of 3.

4. The PDF doesn't change photos. Make sure you're using a full PDF reader and not a preview option. If you open the PDF on your computer how do they look?

5. We removed save at this point and the only save is the auto save when you are on the list of all sections. We had it on more sections before and everyone was complaining about the program being too slow when jumping from section to section as saving took 3-4 seconds.

Yes, I'm using the beta you sent. I even removed and reinstalled. My Galaxy Note II is running Android 4.1.2 and my Template is from IP 3.5.1.

#4 above, I meant damage panel fonts not photos. Also, lost the document side index. I'll upload again and look at the PDF reader to see if in preview.

The side index, bookmarks has nothing to do with mobile either. Sounds like you're in a Google Docs preview mode or something.
