Hi just lurking in here but is this of any help ?
I have always used the across format for the very reason you gentlemen are talking about if I'm following correctly as it was figured my sections and comments might need room to grow with my business and planned ahead. Below is an example comparing the two template styles which both work fine as long as there are not large amounts of titles. My horizontal template picture is showing systems titles across without the vertical drop downs. Items such as water heater and drains for instance will drop down on clicking "Plumbing" Interior will drop down to Bathrooms and Kitchen as well in my personal template and there is an early example posted here on the forum somewhere. |

And that, Bob, is exactly the reason why I asked my question. I have exactly the same template as your vertical one. However the number of sections is large, exceeding the visible space. That is why the advice of Dominic was very valuable because it allows to reduce this amount to as many sections as needed to see them all.

OK then Dom was suggesting something along the lines of what I use.
You may not wish the exact same thing but that is the basic idea. Mine is based on Illinois SOP . |
