TOPIC: I Have No Clue What Is Happening

It doesn't happen every time, but when it does it sucks.

This is what happens. I do report onsite with HP Tablet. I save the report on the tablet in Dropbox. I add pics and add any additional comments needed and then generate the report. What is happening is that sometimes none of my documents are included in the report.

I am thinking that maybe I am hitting something in the field and erasing them or maybe I am uploading the report from Dropbox to quickly. Dom if you have any ideas about what I may be doing let me know.

If you open a report on a computer without the docs HIP will remove the links to the doc ..  So make sure they're on there.  You almost must move the docs to the new computer as they're separate from the inspection.

For some reason I cannot get ISN to open with HIP on the Slate. I haven't had time to figure out why yet. So I start the inspection on my desktop by opening my preset template and importing the ISN info and putting in the site details. Then I save that to Dropbox and open it up on the Slate to work on it at the inspection. Save inspection and then open that inspection from Dropbox when I get back home.

If I open my preset template on the Slate and hit save template will that save the documents?

I hope that makes sense, because I'm not sure I know what I am saying  ;D

You just need to copy the documents from the data/Documents folder.

Thanks Dom. It is all fixed now. Took me awhile, I kept putting the Docs in the client data folder.

Ahh, yup that will do it!
