TOPIC: Bundle pricing?

I'm preparing to switch to HIP from InspectFaster, and am really interested in using the Android App along with the desktop/laptop software. Have you given and thought to providing a "complete subscription package" price that would include the desktop/laptop software, the app and the cloud service?

Hi Geren,

We give $50 off if you purchase HIP and HIP Mobile at the same time. The cloud service is monthly so there's really no way to work that in. Though we do give a discount if you have a website with us or if you purchase a year in advance.

Also, HIP is on sale right now $50 off, and ASHI, InterNACHI, CREIA and members of many schools get an extra discount as well.

Does the $50 off apply if I go with the lease option on HIP? Also, if I opt for the lease option, and decide to buy outright later, is there any application of the lease fee to the purchase?

The lease includes HIP and the cloud service. You'd need to purchase HIP Mobile at normal price though. The lease fee doesn't roll into a straight purchase since it includes free full version upgrades too so it's hard to quantify that way. We do have several payment plans we can work out with you too that you might like better.

Okay, that all makes sense -- I just have to ask to be able to make the best decision for my business. I like the way the lease is structured to include the cloud service and updates. I just wondered if you were going to do something similar with the mobile app. One way or another, I'll be moving to HIP in the next few weeks.

Understood. It's not a bad idea, it's just not something that we've done yet. I could see us doing something like that for around $65 or $70 a month. But I'd need to go over it a bit.
