Okay guys try this out before you laugh and post the results here.
Was going to pay $100 more for a wifi camera app built in to the new Sony HX30V but discovered something through my second nature of cheapness.. The 3 inch displays on the back of a typical regular camera are good enough that I can take a zoom shot ,put it on display and then use my cell to take a picture of the zoom shot. WOW! it works...give it a try. Just carry a regular camera with you and use zoom as needed. (posted to Nachi forum also) |

Im sure that works but that definitely makes things more complicated to do!

Nothing complicated Dom ,have you tried it ?
Is there a easier method you know of ? as with this you simply take a picture of a screen and you can add zoom shots to your HIP mobile. How many shots actually need zoom? Not that many, and this is a great workaround but as always I am open to new ideas and all ears here. |

Did you just take a picture of a camera taking a picture of a camera taking a picture of a yard?

ha ha the camera is aimed at a powerline transformer 200 yards or so away on 32 x zoom and I am taking a picture of the camera LED screen with my phone to add into a HIP mobile report...get it?
