TOPIC: Copying Frome 1 Template to Another

Jim , I assume you know how to copy a template from your program files in the computer so basically what was said above is the best idea.
Create a copy,rename it then make alterations in the edit template.

Mix and match is not possible but it would be cool to be able to do so with for instance certain sections such as modern kitchen or old Formica kitchen and no need to click material comments if presets were allowed in selections.

LOL, like others have said, copying an entire menu isn't possible yet. You can CTRL-A to select all comments, copy and paste them which is what would take the most time.
