Hi David,

There's quite a few, click on Edit Documents within the program. You can also copy/paste some from the samples here on the message boards that the guys have posted.

David,

My advice: Do not sweat over what or if you insert something into each Section introduction. What is important is what you say in the body of your report—this is your duty to your client. Whatever is in the intro in each section is superseded by your Pre-Inspection Agreement/Contract anyway.

Having said that . . . I recommend that, when you do have the time, do build an intro document for each section that includes the industry Standards for that section/system. You can cut-n-paste these from their respective web sites—ASHI®; InterNACHI; CREA; etc.  I suggest you CUT from web sites, then PASTE to your “Notepad” on your computer, then Cut-n-Paste again, into your “Edit Documents” document in HIP. This process will get rid of any formatting from web sites.

See the attached example from an ASHI® Exterior document on my HIP report.

Good Luck in your business.

Thanks Serge for the reply and I do agree with you. I am still trying to familiarize myself with this software and I needed some practice with adding and editing docs, that is what brought up the question, which you did answer for me.

Thank you, David
