Does anyone have an iPad with 3G built in and activated? I'd like to have a few guys try some of the remote control programs to see how well they would work for them in the field. You basically use the iPad to remotely control your computer and home. As long as you have an always on connection and decent Internet signal in your area it should work.

The iPad already has remote programs out there and are in use. Once people start gettig Android tablets and there are some remote programs I will ask the same question!

There are , but the phone screens are too small. Notice I didn't say iPhone, just he IPad. That leaves the resources on your computer to run as well.

So the remote will be a reduced exact version of the HIP software rather than a total makeover.Gotya.
Sounds like a good experiment and I will be watching to see future comments. |
