TOPIC: Multiple Machines

Will be downloading HIP very soon. I am impressed with the trial software, lots of info. Only question that I have might be simple (i hope). When I do download HIP to my home laptop, can I also download to (again hopefully) my newer netbook that I will actually take with on inspections? Would multiple copies of the program have multiple costs?

Yes, the software is sold per inspector so you can put it on multiple machines without a problem. You can even start on Windows & finish on a Mac if you wanted.

The market quite a bit across the country. Just figure yourself as setting yourself up for when it recovers.

I used to use a thumb drive to transfer HIP folders from 1 computer to another. I have HIP installed on 5 computers. I primarily use 2. Others are back up or older PC's.

My computer guru set me up with a network folder I call HIP file transfer. It is much faster than the thumb drive, and works great for moving files around from computer to computer.

Market here has been up and down. Have 2/3 days off then I work 9 straight days. Do 1 job in 5 days, then 4 in 3 days. All and all it has been a good year for me.
