TOPIC: restoring a template

restoring a template 14 years 1 month ago #35941

Hi everyone

hopefully someone can answer this question,

I have been working with changeing my templates, I removed the garage part and would like to know how to restore it back so I may use it again?

Any help in this matter would be great.

thanks

Hi Eragorn,

Open up the last inspection that you did that had the garage. That will load the template you had as of that date. Hit save template and save over the template name you want. Then you'll be back to where you were!

Hi Eragorn,

The Canadian template actually was created by Doug Cossar. He posted this template to the forum ( www.homeinspectorpro.com/inspector-forum...gle-Family-Dwelling/ ) and it ended up being included in the latest update. Not sure of what those rankings mean, but you're able to change the rankings for that template to have values that are meaningful to your clients. To do this, in Home Inspector Pro, go to Report Settings > Rankings. You can then type over the existing ratings using your own rankings. After you've made the change, make sure to click on 'Save Template' to save your changes.

Doug's sample report is on page 2 of that thread: www.homeinspectorpro.com/inspector-forum...=209.msg1873#msg1873

Serv.= Serviceable, performing its intended purpose.,
NP= Not Present,
NI= Not Inspected,
Rev. = Review for repairs or replacement
