Have been playing around with the document function and was wondering if there is somehow the software could be easily changed for this option.
I was creating a document and was hoping to place it before the actual first section of each system to create a picture header (see attached). Maybe you can have an added button in the document that is listed as header so you don't lose the functionality of the document for statements in the sections. If you could add picture headers in different areas it could really change the way the report is |

I think you're looking for the Stationery feature under Report Settings->Stationery.

Dom, since data on HIP4 for MAC now sits in the "UserHome/Documents/Home Inspector Pro" folder, our signature file (which used to be referenced in an HDF file as src="///Applications/HomeInspectorPro/Data/InspectorSignature.jpg") does not work.
I cant work out the correct syntax to reference the user/Documents folder so that it works for all of our inspectors on their MACS. I need to reference "userhomedirectoery"/Documents/Home Inspector Pro/Data/Documents/InspectorSignature.jpg Do you have the correct syntax to reference user home? Lance |

Have you tried just "/Documents/Home Inspector Pro/Data/Documents/InspectorSignature.jpg"

Yes Dom, that has been tried...
It used to work fine at the ///applications/home inspector pro/data/documents level because the applications folder is at the root level. Since you have moved the data folders under the documents level in V4, documents is at the "user" level so we cant work out the correct syntax to use so that it works for all Resicert inspectors without customisations for user name. There should be some wildcard syntax but cant seem to work it out for a HDF file Its a real pain. So far we have had to create a HIP4 folder at the Applications level to put signature files and graphics but that is just cumbersome and another folder to maintain. Us MAC users wish you kept it where it was any ideas? Attached thankyou signoff.hdf file that needs correct syntax for InspectorSignature.jpg existing in Data/Documents folder |
