Hi Dominic,
I am in need of some help. I backed up the adobe files and the .hzf files on a flash drive. I tried to read some .hzf files from the flash drive but was not sure how to reinsert them into HIP so they could be read. Now all the files have a different icon ( first adobe, now your HIP symbol next to the file name) I made the mistake of selecting a program I thought could read the .hzf program. Now the .hzf files installed on my hard drive are suffering the same fate. When I do try click the open and the HIP icon comes up, the software tries to open up the .hzf file but then gives me an error with the HIP license prompt on my screen. I then have to restart the computer or just shut it down to get out of that screen. Can you tell me how I can assign all the .hzf files the correct path so I can plug in my flash drive and have the ability to read them without all these problems. Also how do I reassign the .hzf files on my hard drive the correct path and icon as now your HIP icon is pictured beside each icon. Thanks for the help. I picked a bad time to do this as business has been great the last two months. I think I can still function ok as I tried to do a report and that seemed to function ok. |

Hi Gary,
Copy all the .hzf files into the Client Data folder within C:\Program Files\Home Inspector Pro (assuming default installation). The .hzf files can only be opened by opening up Home Inspector Pro first, and then click on Open Inspection. You can then select any inspection you need. |
