TOPIC: Header and footer editing

When pulling down the 'cover page footer' under the report setting. This is what happens;

Though I did enter info, and it shows up on the report, that screen for editing shows up blank.

(In 'Generate Report') The footer shows separation in the script added, then the remaining script runs over to the header of the next page. Looks really patchy.

I would like to edit or simple remove the footer all together.

Any ideas?????????????

Did you paste text there from Word or a website? Either will pollute the document as they copy the formatting as well. Close HIP, go to My Computer->C->Program Files->Home Inspector Pro->Data and delete the Footer.xml file , then restart the program. Type your footer directly in or copy Word to Notepad, then Notepad into HIP (this strips the formatting).

In the path Computer->C->Program Files->Home Inspector Pro, I do not have a /Data. Should I?

The program won't work without a Data folder! It wouldn't even start up. You might have it installed in Program Files (x86) instead if you have a newer computer.
