TOPIC: to upload or not

to upload or not 14 years 9 months ago #27775

I was just wondering how many of you uploaded the report versus emailing the report directly to the real estate agent or client.  I know some mail boxes cannot handle a full report and am assuming this problem can be avoided by uploading the report.

Any feed back would be great!

Thanks,

btw, for anybody following my purchase of the ctl2go computer I still have not received a 2gb memory chip nor a refund for the amount of the purchase price of the extra memory.

Hi Gary,

There's nobody's mailbox that can't handle the PDF's. The average PDF is 1 meg, the largest I've seen is around 3 with several hundred photos (though I'm not sure how large Bill DeVries commercial inspection with 1200 photos was!). Yes uploading to our server makes it just link rather than a download. Biggest reasons to upload are : 5 year off site backup, email receipt when you upload, email receipt when client or agent views the report and integration with your site (if hosted with us) to drive up your ranking.

Most guys find the upload service is a great addition to their business. Some guys have more problems in their area (less tech savvy agents) and will upload for themselves to have a backup and only for specific agents. I suggest to try out the 3 months free in your area and decide if you like it or not!
