Yes
I do it all the time. I will give you the two most common methods. 1) Buy a zip drive and put the file on it for easy transfer 2) Email the file to yourself if you have online access If you need help with finding the file let me know. If your question is does HIP have an online auto sync feature the answer is no, but you could even do that as a work around by using an online storage . Remember HIP is not an online software, but with the above it does not matter. |

Hi Joe
Reliability, control, and price are my reasons. I started with horizon and tinkered for many hours with Report Host in the past. That aside your files are stored like any other software in your computer and these are usually automatically stored in your Program files. Found under Computer then program files or program files x86 if you have Vista. Go to the Home Inspector Pro files and find folders for Data,Client data and Client reports. Once you have the program installed on both computer and Tablet you can pluck your files from the above folders. Notice Data stores your templates by name Notice Client reports has your reports stored in PDF format or are the finished reports you completed notice Client data is stored in this strange HZF format , but who cares as you can copy any of them for transfer. Go ahead and give it a try right now Joe. Just send yourself an email with one of those files.Go to attachments and browse till you find the one to send. Try something like a PDF file and see if it opens on the other computer once sent. I will be on most of the night. . |

Hey Bob, I'm moving from Horizon. Loved the reporting part, hated the syncing and photo editing so I'm HIP now!
So I'll have to email them back and forth? If I make changes to my template, I'll have to keep track, change the file name, and keep saving them back and forth? No way to "sync"? |
