TOPIC: Condo Specific Report ?

Ok I guess I am ready to jump back in this. I will be contacting the boss this evening or tomorrow to set up my service. I like the HIP program very much but I was wondering if anyone uses a Condo Specific  Report ? as it would be a bit shorter. Also I have several clients / Realtors who want a preliminary scratch , report on the spot is there one I can copy ?? Thanks in advance

No need for a condo only template. Just open the residential template you like the best (one of the 4 in the program or one of the dozens here on the message board), then go to Report Settings->Section Colors & Print Order and uncheck any pages that aren't relevant. Depending on the condo you might not need the Grounds, Roof, Pool, Garage, etc. After you uncheck them, they won't print on the report. This way any narrative you add to your normal inspection is there for condo's as well.

Not sure what you mean by preliminary scratch? Many inspectors finish their report on site and print on site if that's what you mean (especially here in CA). Use a tablet for the most efficient data entry. If you want a blank copy of the report, just hit Generate Report and print. It would be much better though to print on site rather than hand out something handwritten.
