TOPIC: Microsoft Vista Speech recognition and home inspector pro

I purchased a new computer with this Microsoft Vista  speech recognition program built in and where as my old computer  used  dragon naturally speaking .
Presently I am using it to type this post But notice that when using it for a home inspector pro or on this forum for instance that a pop up panel appears with the title alternate panel which makes it difficult to use as I must choose from a list and click ok before it will paste in.

Does anyone have a work around to type directly in with no need to go through this irritating alternate panel.

Try this:

Right click the speech recognition widget, go to options and click allow dication everywhere

That is what makes the additional panel or as I now call it Pain-el pop up.
Nice idea , but did not do it.

It only types in that box and then you must paste it over by picking one of 9 optional sentences which only show the first several words.
That means you are picking blind as the words later in the sentence may be wrong.

I couldn't find anything else online. Sounds like it's time to spend the $99 for Dragon.

I just hope the $99 version works ok as I have the last version in preferred at $199.

When I tried switching it it said not compatible with Vista.
(gosh I hate Vista)
Bad enough the flash pages take forever to load as if the internet is on dial up.

Doesn't on my computer. Try uninstalling all those plugins!

Check if Dragon has an upgrade program, usually they do.
