When you create a document in HIP how do you add your signature at the bottom of the document. I tried to use $InspectorSignature but it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong I do not know about? Just Learning ???

Hi Harvey,
$InspectorSignature isn't a valid variable, but it is something we plan to add in the future. Right now the signature you add automatically appears in the contract section. If you want it within a document, follow the tip in the thread about adding images to a report , it's tabbed to the top of the section. |

My signature comes out very pixeled on the contract page. I've scanned at various settings, resized, commpressed, etc all to no avail.
It's a jpeg file. Any suggestions? Gill McLane Navarre, FL |

Gill,
In the document you are trying to place your signature. There is a light gray button to the right. You have to click this button to get to the HTML format. I found out the best way to do this is to paste the information into word frontpage, copy it to HIP. It worked for me. I did not use my original signature due to a target for internet hackers to use. There is a website you can go on to create a free signature in different styles you wish to select. I got this information from another HIP user, but forgot where I saw it in one of these threads. May Dominic would be able to provide more information on this subject. I will continue to look. If I find it I will let you know. |
