Hey Dave,
      Could you enlighten me on the reason you want to be a HER ?
I can't seem to find much reasoning to put myself through all that expense
and learning, unless its just a personal thing that you desire.
I was wondering what the market is for these guys, and is it "on the come" as they say in poker? i.e. we hope that it'll be big in the future?
I know its a pretty dumb question at this stage in the thread, but I thought I'd ask it,
for anyone to chime in with.

I believe there Certification is recognized buy utility companies/builders/contractors.
I can't seem to find much reasoning to put myself through all that expense
and learning, unless its just a personal thing that you desire.

It is not an easy achievement. Just buying an IR camera and doing energy audits was not what I was looking to accomplish.
