TOPIC: Would like to share with you my latest inspection.

It's just what your client is looking for. :

Was that your gun in the attic?  Did you just look at your client and say, WTF are you thinking? Have had this happen to me and I was more pissed knowing how long the report was going to take and the fact that my clients weren't going to buy it anyway.

There were guns and a whole lot of other stuff in and around this home. The first thing besides the bulldozer is to sort through the stuff and cleanup the area. Seems an environmental hazard to to me.

I think the cost of just cleaning up the place and bulldozing the garage/Porch will be pricy.

It was a slob on grade home.


Actually the report was not to bad as I just took a a few photos of each and just stated Numerous issues obtain estimates )on almost every area)

The house had a lot of property and if he has a few hundred thousand he can make it a paradise!!

David, sorry you had to endure that. Seems like I run into one or two of those a year, maybe not quite that bad, but bad enough. Like you said, how do they live like that?

Now today's inspection was completely different.

Less than a mile from my house on one of the nicest streets located at one of the better cities.

The seller/sellers agent and my clients were all attentive and cooperative.

Was a high end home with an observatory.  Inspection and report went fairly quick for the size and amount of systems the home had.

Went from my worst to one of my best. Just like Cleveland. Wait a day/hour and conditions change.

Nice David. I also had on eof my best today. I kid  you not, the basement [glow=red,2,300]GLOWED[/glow] when I walked down into it. Elderly lady had it built and lived in it for 15 years. Moved to the old folks home now. Yearly maintenance sheets hung neatly on furnace, AC, and water heater. Just pristine condition. Wish they were all that well taken care of, including my own!!
