TOPIC: Am I wasting my time?

I am up to #485 that I have linked to from HIP alone. In the past I have been mad about people being lazy about furnishing info so I don't have to spend extra time building their link page for them. This is not only still going on it has gotten worse! There about 60 who didn't even have an e-mail so I could make sure they knew and would link back. What do you people think the link page is there for? For others to link to you and you get the benefits and the heck with the guy that linked to you. You who didn't have an e-mail didn't get a link. Out of 485 links I worked on only 92 have linked back to me. So I ask you all, have I been wasting my time?

Make sure you're using the new link exchange program too. It automatically fills out everyone's email address for you. Saves a ton of time. You're always going to have people that link in waves. Some sign up and then never get going like they should. I think getting around 50+% would be really good. It increases with time though too.

It works, I have three web sites and two of them are 1 and 2 when you type in Boise home inspector. The third is on page two. Uploading your reports to your web site help a lot also.

Hey Aaron, I just linked to your site. One BIG problem I see with your site is... NO CONTACT INFORMATION !!! A second issue I have (as a consumer) is I have no idea where you are based out of. For those two reasons alone, I would never hire you. Harsh, yes, but I am very particular about who I do business with, and if I don't know how or where to get ahold of someone, I don't feel all warm and fuzzy about that person.
