TOPIC: Website of the Month?

Ian, nice thoughts, but most of us here are also Inachi Members and a Website Award is hosted there with one hell of an Award if you win for the Year.
I also believe that most of the monthly winners are HIP users.
I know I have learned a lot just by browsing the sites.
We can still discuss our sites here which most of us do and the help over here on websites is second to none already.

Most of us have our websites in our signatures and can be visited anytime one wants too.

Dosen't bother me one way or the other, but just think that it takes away a starving vote participation already on Inachi Website Awards.
There are a lot of Inachi HIP users and to start a Website Award or the like here, might not be to the best interest for Dominic.

Just thought I would voice my opinion and nothing against what you propose. 

I think it's a good idea because we do have a lot of great sites but I think we should hold off a few more months. I'm finishing up an email campaign to drive more inspectors to our message boards to work on their sites. That will give more people to be in the contest. Otherwise it'll just be the regulars here. I will also actually mass email all our users each month to get them to check out the sites for their benefit and to come vote.

Sounds good Dom. Marcel, I hear and understand what you are saying, I was  just thinking that Dom has users from all orgs and could be a fun little monthly deal, we wouldn't need to do something on that scale as far as an award or anything. I was just thinking something more on the lines of just some recognition amongst users.

Yup, we definitely have people from all organizations and I agree that we should do it!

Well, considering that there are quite a few other organizations, it could be beneficial to compare our sites to others.
Possibly could help us in the interim.
Nothing to loose by trying it I guess. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say.
