Thanks Dave and use of illustrations is a good idea.
I have a nice catalog of them that I wish we could change the size on as some of them would be more effective in the report at may at least 50% larger than the regular inspection pictures.
I do add them to my maintenance and tip section through Docs , but that is very limiting.
Perhaps a future version will enable res control on graphics.
For taking notes I use handsignals and pictures with a video walkthrough (1-2 minutes) where I run and talk about materials , plus reminds me of the layout.
Doing commercial inspection trains you to be quick with notes and location.
Sometimes I punch out a brief message on my phone.
I find bringing my netbook to time consuming and distracting
.Better to bond with the people that are present.
