I wonder what it is, the phosphoric acid?  Caramel?

Well, if you've ever used Coke to tenderize a roast, you know how that meat just falls apart!  Jay, I think it could be both, but maybe the coating of caramel...

So, obviously, since all colas use the same ingredients, they all don't use the same "concentrated" caramel.  So, regular Coke, which is the only one that works, must have some formula for caramel or some amount of phosphoric acid that works.

When I was a kid, colas used to burn going down.  RC Cola was the first to come out with, and the first TV commercial to advertise, the cola that "goes down smooth."  Art Linkletter was the biggest advertiser for RC Cola.  They never did really catch on despite lots of good marketing - the first 12 oz then 15 oz bottles, an 8 pack, easy-opening tops.  The other colas simply mimicked the RC Cola good ideas and it ground them down as they were "just the same" as everyone else.

Isn't it "Royal Crown" Cola?  I think I heard that once...it's pretty good, really.  Are they still an independent company, or did one of the 2 monsters buy them up?
