Of course you can load it into HIP, that's why there is a contract section! Click Contract, save it under File->Save Contract. Then you just hit the printer button to generate the report. You should always email it at least a day in advance and have them sign it and send it back to you if possible. Make sure to copy it from Word to Notepad first to remove any of Word's formatting. Then paste it into HIP.

How are they signing it and sending it back?

Fax or print it and bring it with them to the inspection. We're still going through whether electronic signature is legal in every state. In Illinois it's not for reports right now but the new SOP supposedly makes it okay.

I have not signed any of my reports, I think. How do I sign them when I send them email?

Last version added a digital signature feature under Report Settings for you to add your own signature. You should be physically signing it when they return it to you for now to stay within IL state law.

In IL, no from what I understand. Other guys do it by including an image they've made and set it to print at the end of the report.
