Lake effect and cold now but there predicting mid 40s later in the week.

Strange weather, we had the wettest year on record and only a few inches of snow so far.

I would like to try out my 4 X 4 jeep and snow shoes but I am not complaining.

I have not had a snow covered inspection yet this season, I would of had but I went the extra mile(s) and did exterior/roof yesterday when I decided to go get radon monitor and not wait until tomorrow. I hope the client appreciates the effort.

No snow on the ground, have'nt seen this in 22 years since I moved here.
Temps. have been in the high 30's and 40's and still 35 right now. Weather report saying colder air moving in though.

I believe, when it dumps on us, it will be a big dump. This is January right?

Glad you are keeping busy David, I haven't had an inspection in months. Thank god for the shipyard.

I'm sure...I bought the wife a new set of snowshoes...hoping we get some use out of them!

On the plus side; no snow makes for great ice for fishing!  Have to wear spikes though, or you're slipping all over the place!

Surprisingly enough, no ice to speak of. Some in the morning due to rain in the day, but melts by afternoon.
Ground is not frozen that deep yet. Ice on the lakes and rivers come and goes.
No skating here.

Casey... didn't you get some white stuff last week? I got about an inch and a half, then the temps plummeted and it hasn't budged since. Now it's a thick layer of ice everywhere!
