Actually Jeff, I don't think Dom needs to go to any expense or not much at all, especially if it's an award in name only. Doing this would help activity and interest on the HIP message board. If Dom wants to throw in a little green guy trophy or a T-Shirt w/ the little green guy on it, that's fine, but not even necessary.

I completely agree Joe. "In name only", with perhaps a 'nice' printable certificate 'suitable for framing' could be awarded, such as we do with two awards at the other MB.

I see Dom gave his "Okey Dokey".

We need to start a new thread to discuss the Who's and What's of setting this all up and what it's going to look like.

Care to be the first volunteer and start one, and post the link here?

Well, if you guys are game and need my help, I am game.

It is the least I can do for Dom for all the help received.

A Certificate Award cost nothing except time. A tee-shirt would be nice for some. A small award can be bought for $200-300.

Sample to get started;

Great Sample Marcel. Can I suggest/ recommend you do the Member of the year poll and Jeff does Website of the year. You two have the experience of that from the other MB. Those are 2 awards mentioned, but more can be added. I volunteer to do one poll next year after monitoring how it's done this year. I don't think any big award is needed. A certificate, a T shirt or even a plaque w/ the little green guy on it is more than plenty. More importantly it's a way to get more involvement here for Dom and his great organization.

I am no Certificate designer, but I am sure some members here have that capacity and I was just giving an example. Maybe someone with better talent here could volunteer to make a nice Certificate.

I have never done a poll on this message board nor do I know if the board has the capacity to do one.
Dom would have to let me know.
I am sure Jeff will chip in to do his part on the other.
