I guarantee my best work.  I have no guarantee in the agreement, and I specifically state that there is no warranty for any service provided.

For sure, if I screwed up terribly I would probably offer their money back (that is what my agreement states is my maximum liability), but I don't screw up terribly.  Hidden and latent problems are specifically treated in my agreement as disclaimed.

Bill,

That's a marketing tactic that some of the HI marketing guru's have been telling guys to add to their sites. The thought behind it is that it's rarely going to happen but when you're selling yourself on the phone it gives you a big advantage over another guy.

There's a few guys that I know that say the inspection is free if no defects are found. When did you ever find a defect free house?

Jay I do the same, No warranty of any kind but in my agreement I do state that the client does have five days to get a refund if unhappy with the service NOT the results, they have to sign a global release and forfeit the inspection results.

John has an interesting formula, but I would probably forget to give the survey and screw my self that way.

I have never had anyone every complain about the inspection itself, I have had people ask me to embellish a few things so they can get better negotiation power, But I state I am there to observe and report the facts as I see them, I still like to sleep like a baby and believe me I need all the beauty sleep I can muster so that wont be happening.
I also have on the bottom of my report.
" This report and it's contents are the exclusive property of  magnum, and it's unauthorized use is prohibited"
I still own the report, I allow the client to use it.
Like I said I was reading this on a bunch of sites and was curious how yall were handling them and what merit they carried.
