Here is some great workmanship, courtesy a lazy electrician. When I opened the panel at today's inspection, I noticed a shiny substance on a couple wires...WATER! Put my hand on top of the panel...WATER! Take a peek up...DRIP! Right on the face, WATER!

The service was updated on this home from the pole to the house. They also updated the panel inside. But instead of removing and repairing the old masthead and entrance, they simply cut it off, leaving the conduit running through the wall, into the attic, down to the basement.

Drip, drip, drip...
