TOPIC: Maverick OSX

I just down loaded Maverick OSX 10.9.4 on my mac and can't get HIP to launch!  Any suggestions?

Hi Shay,

Apple decided that OS X 10.9.4 would DELETE Java by default (thanks Apple!!). Go to java.com/en/download/apple.jsp and download the latest version of Java. Then try running HIP again and let us know if it comes up okay.

I Have down loaded the latest Java and I am still unable to get HIP to run?

Did you get it installed? Try rebooting the Mac too. Any error messages occurring?

Yes I rebooted, restarted, closed everything, and went through the process of checking to see if Java was installed and with the right version (results came back "The correct version of Java Installed")  The same result HIP shows up at the top but nothing starts up
